How important is your health? Most of us would say it is of the utmost importance, but life is full of distractions that shroud the salience of health. Exposing self-limiting behaviors and navigating past the barriers to good health will spur and unearth new motivations to prioritize a healthy lifestyle. Physical health and wellness are only a portion of human welfare. In the quest for good health, mental and spiritual health are not to be forgotten. Physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health are interconnected and work synergistically. The concept of eudaemonia focuses on the goodness that moves beyond ourselves and is good for only the sake of being good. There are no ulterior motivations such as money, notoriety, or self-inflation. Living a life that brings forth the best in us is the ultimate state of well-being.
